The integral wedge support - developed by E.C.E. and fitted into our planes - is unique.

The integral wedge support is the better solution when it comes to use:

Shavings can flow freely
Wedge can be loosened by hand
Cutting iron is exceptionally stable

Chatter free cutting iron results from the rigid hardened steel fulcrum that does not pierce the plane body and weaken it.
